ANTHONY P. ROMAN

FOUNDER & PRESIDENT

Anthony P. Roman leads APR Group, providing strategic leadership to project teams and clients. He is responsible for strategic planning, risk management and operational oversight. Anthony believes that before concrete is poured and steel is erected, the foundation of every project is built upon a strong relationship with our clients.

Anthony started his career in commercial interiors working his way through college as a Superintendent with Fast Trak construction. After several years in interiors, Anthony joined Adolfson & Peterson Construction as an Assistant Superintendent where he spent several years in the field on both interior and ground-up projects. To better his financial understanding of the industry, he moved into preconstruction and estimating and spent several years in that department refining those skills with groups such as Balfour Beatty Construction and Lee Lewis Construction.

Prior to founding APR Group, Anthony’s interest in entrepreneurship led him toward the subcontracting side of the industry. Specifically, after acquiring the assets of a small excavation company in East Texas, Anthony served as President & Chief Operating Officer in-charge of all operations. He developed that business in the commercial space as a full-service site demolition, excavation, and underground utilities firm and grew the business to support a team of seventy employees with operations spanning the DFW Metroplex and its periphery. This portfolio of work supported contractors at the top of Engineering News Record's (ENR) most respected construction firms in the country.

After several successful years as a subcontractor, Anthony returned to general contracting and construction management at Adolfson & Peterson. However, this time, to lead their Special Projects Division as Project Executive/Director, & Division Manager.

As a servant leader, Anthony approaches all project teams, subcontractors, and clients with the strong belief that their success is based upon establishing APR Group's trust and support.

Anthony is a member of The Real Estate Council, the Greater Dallas Planning Council, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and Southern Methodist University's Robert and Margaret Folsom Institute for Real Estate.

Additionally, Anthony and his wife Mary are founding members of The 43 Club at the George W. Bush Presidential Center.
